Jubal A. Early's Army in the Valley Campaigns of 1864. Noted for its raid on the outskirts of Washington, D.C. and its destruction of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The Army's defeat at the Battle of Waynesboro by Sheridan resulted in the Union occupation of Charlottesville in March 1865.
