Class for which a $15 fee is required in order for a student to enroll, as opposed to a more typical course that a student might enroll in which would cost more money per session. Example: Course of the Demonstrator of Anatomy in contrast to a Mathematics course. Significant because it affected the total number of courses a student was required/eligible to be enrolled in and how much money he paid in totality to the University for tuition per session that he was enrolled.
