[EVENT: Student Misconduct:Drinking ] [EVENT: Student Misconduct:Verbal Assault ] Mr McCoy(P43757) reported Mr Holland(P41197) a boarder for being intoxicated + disorderly in his dining room on the 25th inst, and for uttering threats against his son Mr. Ch McCoy(P33489) - Mr. Holland having been sent for acknowledged that he had indulged too freely in drinking on Christmas day, and while under excitement he had behaved improperly, for which he was sorry, he said he was ready to make a proper apology to Mr. McCoy(P33489), for his misconduct and to promise that his deportment for the remainder of the session should be as he hoped with the single exception complained of it had been hitherto - He was thereupon

[EVENT: Student Misconduct:Verbal Assault ] Mr McCoy (P43757)also reported Mr R. P. Alexander(P25945) for disorderly conduct at his table on the 22d. inst to wch. cursing a servant and when remonstrated with therefor, by Mr MCoy, showing personal disrespect to him -

Mr Alexander being absent on leave at the time of this report, I sent for him upon his return on the 31st inst and reprimanded him strongly for his improper and disrespectful conduct, and warned him at the same to be duly circumspect in his deportment for the future-

[EVENT: Student Misconduct:Drinking ] Mr Robert E Allen(P33256) was reported by Prof Minor(P22874) for being drunk + disorderfly in the streets of Charlottesville(PL4204) on the 26th Dec. He was sent for- acknowledged his misconduct expressed regret for the same and promised to be careful not to offend in like manner again- whereupon he was dismissed with a reprimand
