Pavilion VII Entry Hall - Then and Now 360 Panorama

The entry hall originally contained the stairs that led to the second floor of Pavilion VII, which would have served as the living quarters of the pavilion if it had been utilized in the same way as the other pavilions, and the basement. Originally, there was no communication between the entry hall and the classroom; the opening seen to the right, on the southern wall, was added circa 1831 when the Pavilion was altered for occupation by Proctor Carr. When the western addition was added, the stairs were moved to the new stair hall. The doorway the panorama camera is situated in was originally the rear entrance of the pavilion, leading to a small porch and the walled workyard. Today, it provides access to the additions built to the west of the original pavilion.
