One of two photographs in the UVA Library Digital Repository that shows the parapet that once existed on the roof of Pavilion III, this photo by Eugene A. Perry was taken circa 1890. Original to Jefferson's design, the parapet was likely removed during roof repairs made while Professor Harrison was living in the pavilion; it does not appear in a photograph dated to 1892.
