A January 4, 1825 entry noted, "Labour acct. draft to Bills Payable to C. Poindexter for hire of Moses, Reubin, Ben, Wyatt & Stephen (P47099) $250 - bonded." Lastly, a January 8, 1826 entry noted, "Sundries with Bills Payable Labour acct. for Moses, Ben, Wyatt of Charles Poindexter - $150 bond." An additional slave of Poindexter's that was hired out in this time period was Prince (P47098).
