----, JOHN
    by Julia Munro

JUEL ID/KEY: P47522
John, male (last name unknown), adult. He is mentioned in the Proctor's Daybook in a memorandum dated March 4, 1825: "Simon went to work for W. Key; John went to work for Dunglison." He is mentioned being hired out a second time to Dr. Robley Dunglison, Chairman (P43624), although it is unclear who owns John (presumably the Proctor and/or university): "Dr. R. Dunglison draft to Labour acct. for the hire of John cash - $6.00" (March 7, 1826). Dunglison lived in Pavilion X (PL8474) at the time (from 1825 to 1833).
