ANON0057, an unnamed group of "six boys." Owned by John Hartwell Cocke (P43616), they are mentioned in one entry in the Proctor's Daybook: 

  • September 30, 1823: "To hand for hire of Charles (P47524) of J. H. Cocke at $12 per month, 6 mos., $72.00, and 6 boys (anon0051) (P47526) at $4.00 each per month, $144.00 (total, $216.00)"

 

Cocke was also paid for the hire of slave Peter (P47525).
