Polly (last name unknown), female, presumed adult. Mentioned in "A List of Hirelings to be Sent to Captn. Winns (P47913); Jany. 1. 1828," Polly is listed at the cost of 23.50$. The document, by John Hartwell Cocke (P43616), lists nine women total and includes instructions and notes on some of the individuals. The total "hirelings" listed were: Dinah, Polly, DilcyBibbiannaAggyEmilyJennyLouisa, and Fanney

She is noted to come with a "[deft] Blanket & Hat." A note also describes Polly thus: "At the treaty of this woman, I have consented to her leaving her child & nurse." A note directly below also states, "The woman Polly changed her notion & requests for her child & nurse to go with her, I have therefore hired her in that way."
